1951 Cadillac Series 61 Coupe
Cadillac was founded in 1902 and this was their
50th Anniversary edition, advertised as "every inch a Cadillac" this model was the top selling pillared sedan

1951 Cadillac Series 62
Little changed on the Caddy this year
in less you count the small checkerboard grille under the head lights, to be fair, some interior trim also changed a bit

1952 Cadillac Series 62
The basic Series 62 and the Coupe de Ville were primarily the same
except for the interior and an emblem, yet owning a top of the line Coupe de Ville was the ultimate status symbol

Runaway best seller was this Series 62 sedan
the protruding bumper gaurds were knicnamed "Dogmars" after a buxom TV actress

The top of the top the Fleetwood Sixty Special
had every conceivable option offered, the car's emblems were even done in 24k gold

The designers thought that last years launch was too different
looking for the American buying public so a less distinctive version was released this year and it sold four times as many
