The Range Rider (Jock Mahoney) went around the West doing good deeds. Primarily a kids show, the Raneg Rider also starred Dick Jones as Dick West.
The 6’4″ Mahoney was a former stunt man whose athletic skills became legendary as he performed his own, often difficult stunts on the show.
Mahoney went on to become Yancy Derringer and Jones to be Buffalo Bill Jr.
Passings
Mahoney died in 1989 of a stroke.
