Twiggy (Lesley Hornby) was without doubt the most photographed model of the 1960s. She appeared in more medium than any other model – ever. Her thin frame would today be considered unhealthy and a harmful role model for teenage girls. At the time her androgynous look fit perfectly the fashions that were streaming out of London and taking America by storm.
